And here we go….
When I first thought about writing a blog, strange thoughts came to my head such as “what do I have to say?” or “who would want to read it?”. The more I read about blogs and looked further into it, I realized that it didn’t so much matter who was reading it, but what content you had to add to your blog that kept it interesting. Would I want to read what I wrote is what I told myself. Blogging isn’t simply for free writing bunches of collective thoughts and putting them out for the world to see. This is all types of journal entries, diaries, thoughts, statements, random conclusions. It is not merely one long page of strung together sentences, but paragraph after paragraph of interesting, compelling life literature. It is not important in just how you say it, but also how it is interpreted. With thousands of blogs on the internet, I can only imagine how many collective thoughts are floating through cyberspace.
The name was the other difficult thing to pin point. It was difficult to get to this point to start the blog but what to call it? Growing up, my mouth was literally running all the time. I always felt like I had something to say and people needed to hear it. Many times I was told to be quiet or more harshly just simply shut up. Now being an adult, I can honestly say my mouth doesn’t run as much without first thinking what is going to come out of it, but I still like to talk. The title says it all and I vowed to not be told to shut up anymore because what I have to say is important and needs to be heard. This is now more true than ever.
